Hi, I’m Caitlin (she/her) and I am 31 years old and born and raised in Cincinnati. I grew up surrounded by all forms of art; my dad is an incredible architect who draws all of his houses by hand, my mom is a kind and passionate educator, and all 3 of my brothers use their hands to create in one form or another whether that's music, woodworking, or houses. My grandma was and will forever be my biggest inspiration; it was through her many facets and passions that I discovered my own passions. I like to think there's a lot of her living through what she passed down to me – painting, antique stores, and most of all photography.
My passion for photography started when I realized I could capture my youngest brother's 4 year old personality and hold onto it forever. Those photos will forever be some of my favorites. It sparked the passion to create family heirlooms and I’ve spent the last 12 years refining my craft, especially when it comes to telling a story.
Outside of photography, my partner Kelsey and I run Midwestern Lesbian, where we plan events and share content for our LGBTQ+ community so you’ll often find me there with my camera still in hand! As a proud queer person myself, it’s an incredible privilege to document the joy and connection that comes from loving openly and wholeheartedly. It was a journey to get to where I am, but I am so proud of the person I have become.
OTR has been home the past few years and I adore living in the city. Kelsey, Trooper and I love to walk to our favorite parks, bars, and small businesses while passing some of the most incredible murals Cincinnati has to offer. If you ever need any recommendations of where to visit, eat, or grab a drink, I am always eager to share!
In 2025, I had the incredible honor of photographing Conquering's Paris Fashion Week debut! Paris has always been a dream of mine and getting to photograph a brand that is so special to me at PFW was truly one for the books. I don't think I will ever shut up about it.
Trooper is my soul dog. He is a rescue and the goofiest, cuddliest, sweetest boy there will ever be. I had to add a little gallery of just trooper man because he's just soooo stinken cute.
